Tower Hamlets Health & Wellbeing Service (Safe East)
£36,960 to £44,363 p.a. plus £4,500 LWA
Full-time, 37 hpw

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and solution-focused Service Manager to join our Young People's integrated Health and Wellbeing Service in Tower Hamlets.

Commissioned by Tower Hamlets Council, we provide a highly innovative service delivering a range of universal, targeted and specialist health and wellbeing interventions to young people across Tower Hamlets. The evidenced based interventions delivered focus on three strands of care specific to young people's risk taking behaviours: risky sexual behaviour, substance misuse and emotional wellbeing.

About the role
You will be responsible for overall service delivery and performance including: line management of a team of professionals, maintaining contract and statutory compliance, representing the Service at meetings with stakeholders, acting as local safeguarding lead, and taking forward recommendations for service improvement.

Working hours Mon - Fri, 37 hours per week with some evening and weekend working

The Person
Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have substantial experience at managerial level in a children and young people's community setting and will also:

*Be able to lead and motivate people
*Have worked within substance misuse and /or sexual health
*Be experienced in multi agency and partnership working
*Have previous lead safeguarding experience
*Adopt a flexible approach to work - hours and locations
