Job description: I am currently recruiting for a Sheltered Estate Supervisor on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. This is a full time position working 35 hours a week.

The main purpose of the position is to lead and manage the cleaning and caretaking services within a designated area.

Area of Responsibilities :

*Providing leadership for your team, ensuring they proactively deliver excellent customer service
*Working proactively with customers, managing expectations, to ensure that they are able to have successful tenancies and have a positive view of their environment and landlord
*Proactively support your team to deliver seamless services in line with the Corporate Strategy
*Recruitment and management of staff in line with Group procedures

Role Expectations :

Customer Care
*Undertake all duties in accordance with the Group's policies and procedures and, wherever practicable, in accordance with customers wishes
*Attend estate Inspections and other relevant meetings to keep customers updated on estate issues
Leadership and Management
*Lead and manage the estate staff team in accordance with Group policies and procedures.
*Arrange, in conjunction with the Sheltered Services Manager, the estate staff team rota to cover for absences
*Undertake spot inspections and complete the inspection sheets for the work of the estate staff team and any relevant contractors and ensure that Sheltered Services Manager(s) are advised of any shortfalls so that the necessary action may be taken
*Arrange and undertake patrols of the estate(s) at both specified and ad-hoc times as necessary, to:-
*Ensure standards of cleanliness are maintained
*Inspect communal areas for any damage, vandalism or graffiti and in particular to monitor Health & Safety matters and to ensure that any identified issues are reported accordingly
*Ensure that any actions related to Fire Risk Management delegated to the estate staff team are undertaken and appropriate records are kept
*Ensure that gates and doors are locked and unlocked as appropriate and that lights in communal areas are in working order
*Respond to customers concerns regarding the estate staff service in conjunction with the Sheltered Services Manager(s)
*Participate in the selection and recruitment of estate based staff
*Ensure all estate staff undertake appropriate training
*Promote continuous service improvement across all estate based services
Safeguarding
*Follow all steps outlined in individual and environmental risk assessments, as appropriate
*Follow the Local Authority
