Job description: We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Site Managers to join our team in Edinburgh with sites in Livingston and East Edinburgh.

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all works are completed efficiently, on time, and to the specified quality.

You will co-ordinate all trades and subcontractors, manage plant and labour to suit contract needs. manage materials, maintain office systems and records.


Key Responsibilities:

*Preparing, monitoring and ensuring compliance with the programme demands and issue both weekly and monthly reports to track adherence against programme and commercial targets
*Ensuring safety procedures and legislation are followed and in place
*Working closely with the Quantity Surveyor, providing the necessary input to allow the Quantity Surveyor to report on the current and projected financial status of the project
*Developing the main logic of the works programme and monitoring progress of the same weekly
*Ensuring that no work commences on site until health and safety policy and the relevant construction phase plan is in place
*Developing Method Statements and Risk Assessments
*Providing leadership and support to site staff
*Sourcing labour and maintaining high productivity
*Supervising the quality of all works
*Financial and contractual control of subcontractors
*Ensure work is carried out in accordance with the Company's Health and Safety Policy & other relevant policies


Key Selection Criteria:

*Previous experience in the Construction industry essential
*Experience in managing Clients, Sub-Contractors and Supply Chain
*Health and Safety - 5-day SMSTS, CSCS Black Card and other relevant certification
*Relevant Construction Qualification HND/Degree
*Full UK Driving Licence.
