This is a temporary, full-time position based in Essex. With a view for the role to become permanent, subject to the successful candidate.

The primary localities are Braintree, Chelmsford, Maldon and Uttlesford. The locations and the role can be discussed in more depth at the interview, as the role requires managing between 1-4 of the 12 ECC managed residential Gypsy and Traveller sites in Essex.

Driving and ability to use own vehicle essential as travel is required to, from and in-between sites.

About the opportunity

This role provides support in the management and maintenance of specified County Council and Partner owned residential Gypsy/Traveller caravan sites.

You will be responsible for managing the sites in an efficient and effective manner, including collection and recording payment s chasing arrears, ensuring residents comply with/enforcing site licence conditions, basic maintenance of the site and buildings, ensure that health and safety regulations are complied with and directly supporting residents in accessing key services.

The ideal applicants will be organised, with the ability to prioritise and solve problems as this will be key, alongside the promotion and support of health and education with site residents.
