Job description: Team Manager - Safeguarding Team - Haringey Council
Service Care Solutions are looking for a SWE Registered Team Manager within the children's safeguarding team at Haringey council on a permanent basis. The role is to provide management and support which ensures the team delivers high quality social work service to children and families.
This is a permanent vacancy.

CONTRACT - Permanent
HOURS - 36 per week
SALARY - £50,826 - £56,100 d.o.e.

WHAT YOU NEED
*Active SWE registration
*Relevant Social Work Qualification
*Evidence of post-qualification continuing professional development
*Significant experience of working within a similar role, including the areas of safeguarding and child protection
*Experience of good quality practice, consistent with the notions of authoritative practice
*Either experience of staff/student supervision and/or evidence of training and learning in supervisory techniques and skills
*Ability to provide leadership to the team
*Ability to plan and manage own and others workload
*Good knowledge of child development and significant experience of child protection work
*Ability to competently assess and manage risk appropriately
*Ability to influence and coach others and to raise the standards of other practitioners
*Experience of chairing and recording multi agency meetings
*Understanding, knowledge and ability to follow guidelines that ensures compliance to Health and Safety at work, Data protection and other statutory requirements as relevant to the post
*Appropriate and effective interpersonal skills
