Job description: Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to work with Thurrock Council local authority Children Services - Children Disabilities Team.

The children with Disabilities team comprises of two teams of qualified and unqualified workers. One team is Early Intervention and the other team carries long term and complex cases, including child in need cases, child protection and Looked After children cases. Both teams work together well, sharing knowledge and skills and assist each other at times of difficulty.
Caseloads are kept to a reasonable level, because we want the children to receive the best intervention, this includes direct work with them to ensure their voices are heard. Working in the Children with Disabilities team gives a social worker a real opportunity to make a difference to a child and a family.

A great opportunity with a very structured and dedicated Team with the possibility of a long term contract.
There is also an excellent rate of pay and flexible working hours.

For this position you must have:
*a degree or masters in Social Work (or any other recognised equivalent qualification)
*HCPC registration
