Job description: Permanent Children in Need Social Workers needed at Swindon Borough Council - £30,754 - £40,680 (depending on experience)

Following a difficult OFSTED inspection, lots of learning, consulting and planning are in the process to transform the Children's Services to give their highly valued Social Worker teams the tools and support they need to make more of a difference in children in care
Improvements include; multi-million pound investment into the Children's Service; significant restructure creating smaller social worker teams with better supervisions; developing an exciting learning and development programme based on outcome focused practice and a new intuitive IT system to cut down on desk time and make mobile working the norm.

The team at Swindon Borough Council are ambitious and proactive and they are looking for people who will share that ambition and be part of their journey.

Start date: ASAP
Duration: Permanent contract
Relocation: Opportunity for relocation bonus of £8,000

Roles available
*Qualified Social Worker: Salary from £30,754 to £34,155
*Experienced Social Worker: Salary from £35,717 to £38,432
*Consultant Social Worker: Salary from £39,611 to £40,680

What is required?
*Recognised and current professional Social Work qualification e.g. DipSW, BASW etc. and registration with the HCPC
*Experience within Children in Need
