Job description: We are looking for Band 6 Social Workers for a fantastic opportunity to join a Specialist Mental Health Recovery Service based in Essex within the NHS.

Applicant must drive and have access to a car.

Temporary pay rate: £24ph

Hours and length of contract:
*The service operates a Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00.
*The manager is looking for the position to be filled ASAP with an initial 3 month contract length.

Daily Duties
You will be actively practicing as an AMHP, managing a caseload of clients and undertaking mental health assessments, engaging with their carers to ensure that appropriate action is taken.

The service offers therapeutic interventions for people with:
*Depression and related disorders
*Anxiety disorders
*Personality disorders
*Perinatal disorders
*Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
*Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)

You will be acting as a care coordinator for your own caseload, including the provision of aftercare and you will be supporting service users to achieve positive outcomes to enhance their wellbeing and increase their independence.

You will support adults to be safeguarded, manage risk and meet eligible need without overprovision of services and ensure where appropriate that service users are referred for suitable follow-up care.

You will be expected to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and therefore the ability to work within a team and develop great working relationships is essential.
Person specification:
The applicant must be DBS cleared and have previous experience in the field.
