Job description: Social workers are required in the Learning Disabilities Social Work Team at Cardiff Council on a temporary,full-time basis. The Learning Disabilities Team work with Service Users and their families to maximise independence and provides opportunities which enables service users to enjoy purposeful and meaningful lives. The social worker must be be qualified and have experience of working with people with learning disabilities, or experience of working in adults services. The right candidate will need to have experience of completing assessments, care planning, case management, and be competent in the use of IT. The social worker will be expected to work with service users with a range of social care and health needs.

The ideal candidate will have:
*Social work degree, or equivalent
*HCPC or Care Council Wales registered
*Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities
*Full UK driving license and vehicle
