Service Care Solutions are currently looking for Qualified Social Worker to join the Young Adults Service with Haringey Council and provide support and advice to Care Leavers aged 16-25 as they make the transition from care to independence. The service also operates a referral and intake service for unaccompanied minors age 16 plus arriving in the borough.

Requirements for the role:

*Experience of working with Care Leavers, Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children, age assessments and child and family assessments.
*Relevant Social Work qualification and active HCPC Registration
*Ability to assess and identify levels of risk and need, and deliver protective/supportive services for children with a child protection plan
*To promote the welfare of children in need with particular regard to their age, sex, health, race, religion, culture and life experience as appropriate.
*To work with children in care and their families to secure stable, safe permanent care arrangements.
