Job description: A housing association based in Central London is looking for a Stok Condition Surveyor to join their team. This is a full time, permanent role and the successful candidate must hold a full relevant surveying qualification, have experience undertaking Stock Condition Surveys and ideally previous experience in a housing association setting.

The main purpose of the role is to survey, collate survey data and report a wide range of property information on the client's property portfolio to facilitate;

Provide information used for property option appraisals - to ensure our properties are utilised to their maximum potential.
The production of accurate major works programmes.
The production of accurate cost information for leaseholders, prospective purchasers and finance dept.
The production of the Group's 'Decent Homes Standard' position.
The production of accurate RdSAP information.
The evidencing of compliance with statutory legislation.
The production of accurate KPI reports.

The main responsibilities of the role will include;

Undertake detailed Stock Condition Surveys on estate, block, office and unit property assets accurately recording the age, remaining life and quantity data for each component using a hand held device.
Deliver the Group's annual stock survey programme and individual survey target.
Undertake RdSAP surveys to units and produce accurate energy ratings for each.
Identify Decent Homes Standard non-compliance issues and accurately record these using a hand held device.
Identify Housing Health and Safety Rating System issues and accurately record these using a hand held device.
Ensure urgent Health and Safety issues are specified and reported from site.
Identify, specify remedial work where necessary and report to the relevant teams: - building defects, latent defects, insurable damage, access issues, tree and M&E risks.
Assist with devising the survey programme and taking responsibility for making and keeping appointments.
Liaise closely with administrative staff for appointments and ensure notification letters are sent out in advance of surveys.
