Job description: Strategy, Partnerships and Organisation Development Officer

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Strategy, Partnerships and Organisation Development Officer in Kensington, Central London. This is to work in the Childrens Social Services.

This is a 4 month rolling contract with a very high possibility of an even further extension!

The vacancy is to start ASAP!

The hourly rate is negotiable depending upon years of experience.

Duties will include but are not limited to:
*Design, research and author high quality strategies and plans that articulate and align activities and drive activity across the Department and wider Children's partnerships.
*The strategies will include local and shared Children's Plans, business plans, workforce and organisational development strategies and other key strategies.
*Develop and deliver appropriate service-specific strategies including for the training and development of key sectors.
*Proactively develop and support the running of key strategic partnerships and Boards, playing a key role in fostering additional partnerships across the public, private and voluntary and community sectors where greater alignment will better address shared outcomes or priorities.
*Provide strategic and operational insight on the development of a high quality and effective Children's workforce, including the development of workforce profiles, training needs assessments and learning and development commissioning strategies.
*Project manage or contribute to project teams addressing service improvement and transformation priorities which drive innovation, meet savings targets or identify potential efficiencies.

Requirements for this role-
*Enhanced DBS
*Experience of developing and delivering effective workforce and organisational strategies
*Experience of designing, planning, procuring and reviewing training and professional development activity
*Up-to-date and developed understanding of the policy and legislative context for Local Government (particularly in relation to Children's Services)
*An innovative and imaginative approach and the ability to identify new and credible options
