Job description: Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Support Manager on behalf of a well-established and Outstanding Ofsted rated Children's Residential Provider based in Prescot.

This role is working alongside the operations manager and you will be responsible for the overall management, delivery, promotion and development of the services. You will work alongside staff, external agencies and local authorities to ensure the successful delivery of the service.

The ideal candidate should have a proactive and positive approach to people management. The role itself is full time and is paying between £30-£35k dependent on experience.

Duties and responsibilities:
*The support manager is responsible for the day to day service management of company business and line management of all registered managers employed within the business.
*To be the main point of contact with external agencies and develop positive relationships with purchaser and commissioning teams from local authorities and regulatory bodies, attending provider forums as required.
* To have a good knowledge of Children's Regulations and Ofsted compliance, offering this advice to all management members of staff and keeping up to date with legislation's.
*Ensuring a quality service by managing, monitoring and implementing appropriate and relevant quality standard and initiatives alongside the operations manager.
*Overseeing and undertaking investigations with grievance and disciplinary procedures and hearings and prepare reports where required.
