Job description: We are looking for Support Workers and Care Assistants for a fantastic opportunity to join a private supported living service for adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs, based across the Norfolk area.

Pay rate: £7.95 - £8.20 per hour

Hours and length of contract:
*37.5 hours per week (part time also considered)
*A flexible shift pattern to cover 24 hours per day
oearly, lates, sleep ins and waking nights

Daily Duties:
You will be working as a Support Worker for specialist charity who provide high-quality support to adults with complex and challenging needs across England and Scotland.

The service offer 24/7 support to people with complex needs including autism, mental health needs, and multiple learning disabilities with the overall aim of helping users lead as independent life as possible and the life they choose within their community.
Your role will be to ensure that service users have maximum opportunities and choice for developing new skills and lead fulfilling, varied and socially inclusive lifestyles.

Daily duties include:
*Identifying and developing tailored support plans and risk assessments
*Assisting people with routine personal and domestic tasks, including:
opersonal care, household tasks and cleaning
opromoting a healthy lifestyle when shopping, meal planning, cooking and choosing activities.
*Monitoring and promoting service users health and well being with a Health Action Plan
*Support users to participate in social, educational, leisure and sporting activities within the local community.
*Administer medication when required
*Assist with benefits, budgeting and management of personal monies.

Although experience is desirable, full training will be provided to ensure you have all the skills needed to provide the very highest standard of support.
