Job description: A private client we are working with are currently looking for Learning Disability Support Workers to join a friendly care home team within a beautiful market town in North Norfolk.

Temporary pay rate:
*Days: £10ph
*Saturdays and Nights: £11ph
*Sundays & Bank Holidays: £12ph
Hours and length of contract:
*Full time (37.5 hours) or part time (various) - Day and Night
*Typical shift patterns: 7am-2pm/ 2pm-10pm/ Nights 9.30pm to 7.30am alternate weekends & sleep-in
*Initial 3 month contract (with likelihood of extension)
*The manager requires the position to be filled ASAP!

Daily Duties:
The client is a national charity who support adults with learning disabilities and autism to lead the lives that they choose and you will be working in a purpose built care home which consists of two flats and home to around 8 service users.

We are looking for people who respect the opinions, beliefs and dignity of others and treat people as equals. You must be thoughtful, discreet and maintain confidentiality of individuals whilst being creative and positive when embracing new ideas, experiences and challenges.

Each day will be varied as you provide tailored support on a day to day basis to ensure each person's needs are met.

You will get to know the people you support and identify and work with them to achieve their goals, enabling them to lead as an independent life as possible.
Duties may include support & encouragement with personal care, as well as taking part in a range of interests & activities that support a healthy, well balanced & fulfilling lifestyle.

Person specification:
The applicant must be DBS cleared and have previous experience working with adults with learning disabilities/autism.
