Job description: Are you a mental health support worker looking for full time or part time work in Berkshire? Well, at Service Care Solutions we are looking for experienced individuals to work within a well renowned secure mental health and learning disability service.

The role itself is to cover shifts caused by either sickness, observation increases or just general shortages in staff on an ad hoc basis. The majority of shifts are long days or long nights with total shift time being 12.5 hours.

On day to day basis you will be expected to care for patients both with mental and physical needs, undertake observations daily, potentially escort patients out of community leave, assist nurses with their daily tasks as well as helping them with record keeping and you would be expected to undertake tasks such as cleaning to contribute to the efficient running of the wards.

The ideal candidate would have previous experience in environments where they have worked with patients with mental health issues or learning disabilities. Candidates that have had training in control and restraint would looked upon favourably and all candidates must be flexible and understand the nature of ad hoc shifts.

If interested and you believe you have the necessary skills and experience, please apply to Chris Wheeler at Service Care Solutions calling me on 01772 208 962 now or email chris.wheeler@servicecare.org.uk with your updated CV

We also have a £250 referral fee in place for any friends or colleagues that refer that we get into work
