Job description: Support Worker (Tenancy Sustainment) Greenwich
One of the South East's largest housing associations is recruiting for three experienced Support Workers to provide tenancy related support to their customers and service users across the Borough of Greenwich.

The Role
The focus of the role is to provide individual tenancy support to people in the community, helping them to maintain their tenancies, prevent homelessness and continue to live independently.
In the role you will carry out support planning and risk assessments for high need customers. This will involve collaborating with relevant community agencies to ensure customers receive appropriate advice and support. You'll also be responsible for engaging with customers and raising their awareness of local services and facilities to ensure they have access to training, education and work. Working closely with other departments, you'll ensure that key performance targets are met and that all customer records are up to date.
You may be required to travel into the community to accompany and support customers to appointments and social inclusion activities. Other travel may be required in support of day to day scheme management, travel to sister sites and in relation to training and personal development.

The Candidate
To be considered for the role you will require the following skills and experience:
*Experience of working with vulnerable people with a range of needs in a support capacity
*NVQ in health and social care desirable
*Good communication skills and the ability to engage with, and respect the needs of, vulnerable people
*IT skills including the use of Microsoft packages
*To manage and maintain administration and recording systems
*To comply with policies & procedures, including: Safeguarding, Health & Safety, Customer Care

The Contract
This is a permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week, offering a salary of £21,000 pa.
