Job description: TEAM MANAGER LAC - INDEPENDENT YOUTH SERVICE - NORTH LONDON
Service Care Solutions are looking for a PERMANENT Team Manager for an Independent Looked After Child service based in North London.
The key purpose of this position is to manage and develop an office-based team of motivated outreach key workers who provide support and social care services for looked after children (LAC) that enables them to achieve a strong identity and reach their maximum potential. This is a permanent post.
START DATE - ASAP
SALARY - £35-40K p.a (depending upon experience)

WHAT YOU NEED
*Extensive experience in managing supported housing accommodation and services for LAC (ages 16-25)
*Proven experience of senior line management of outreach key staff
*Excellent understanding and knowledge of current LAC legislation, keeping up to date with any changes in legislation
*Proven track record of strong leadership and people management skills
*Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
*Hold a degree or higher in Social Care
*Excellent networking and business development skills
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
*Working knowledge of Universal Credit and Welfare Benefits
*Knowledge and understanding of good practice in housing management/Social services
*Knowledge and understanding of working in a diverse environment
*Social Work Qualification is desirable but not Essential
