Job description: My Client Central Bedfordshire are looking for Experienced Team Manager to Join the Leaving Care Team, Based at Priory House, Chicksands.

Central Bedfordshire Council is excited to offer the opportunity for a Team Manager role within our Children Service Leaving Care Team. In Central Bedfordshire we want to assist children and young people to grow up safely, achieve more, and be happy and healthy. We know that the only way to protect our most vulnerable children is to value and support our talented Social Workers and to provide excellent supervision and leadership. We have a great opportunity for a candidate to join our Leaving Care Team as a Team Manager, supporting a mixture of Social Workers and Personal Advisors to provide Leaving Care services to our young people.

The main duties of the role include supervising a team of staff to enable and support them to provide statutory functions to children who are Looked After and/or Leaving Care. The Team Manager will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 8 professionals. This will include a mixture of Personal Advisors and Social Workers.
The successful candidate must be HCPC registered and a qualified Social Worker with degree level/equivalent qualification.
Children's Services at Central Bedfordshire Council has recently been awarded 'employer of the year' alongside a 'Good' OFSTED inspection.

What You need to apply?
-Team manager Level Experience / Similar Setting
-Demonstrate Management / Supervisory Experience
- Car Driver preferred
-3+ Years Post Qualified Social work experience
-Experience with Vulnerable young people and Families
-Safeguarding matters
-Upto date with Legislations
