Job description: I am looking for Qualified Team Manager to join the MASH Team with Luton Council based at Town Hall.

To have overall Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) operational management responsibility, working alongside partners such as Health, Police, Probation and Early Help located within the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub to provide a high quality seamless service to children, young people and their families at the earliest point of contact.

Job Purpose/ Responsibilities:

Strategically lead the Senior MASH Officer and MASH officers to ensure that they progress contacts quickly and efficiently enabling a professional decision to be made within set timescales. The MASH Manager will ensure that the Officers act as a filter to inappropriate contacts, providing appropriate guidance and signposting to a more appropriate resource where social care threshold is not met, and the Manager will ensure that contacts which are not accepted by Children's social care are discussed with the appropriate support services to identify the best resource and according to thresholds.

Chair appropriate multi agency meetings within the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub that triage contacts, allocate resources and identify the correct and most appropriate pathways

What you need to apply?
-In-depth experience in a social care field working with children and families in need of social care services.
-In-depth experience of advising, coaching, supervising and supporting staff including carrying appraisals, managing performance and dealing with HR related issues.
