Job description:
I'm looking for a Technical Officer to work within a Housing and Regeneration Team. You must be an enthusiastic person with previous experience working within a housing role as you will be working on a busy front line repairs service. You will be providing efficient and comprehensive administrative support to this team which includes completing a broad number of duties. You must have excellent organisational skills, be able to communicate effectively with members of the public and can work within a targeted environment.

Key Responsibilities
*You will be responsible for scheduling repairs orders with suitable operatives and liaise effectively with contractors.
*Attend meetings and take minutes.
*Monitor surveyors inspections, property inspections and liaise with agents and landlords.
*Proactively manage work orders using IT systems, ensuring that complex orders are managed.
*Effectively communicate with client and customer queries, providing guidance to assist them and resolving repairs issues.
*Collate papers for legal casework.
*Undertake data entry tasks as required as well as ensuring that the appointment scheduling system is accurately maintained and managed.
*To meet KPI performance targets and customer satisfaction targets for the service area.

*You will have experience working within a similar role within a housing environment.
*Excellent knowledge of different IT systems including Northgate, Iclipse and Microsoft Office.
*Previous experience taking meeting minutes.
