Job description: Tenancy Assistant - Newark
A local authority in Nottinghamshire are recruiting for a Tenancy Assistant to work closely with a wide range of vulnerable individuals to help them maintain their tenancy at a supported housing scheme in Newark.

The Role
The focus of the role is to deliver a high quality tenancy management service to tenants, this will include the following tasks and responsibilities:
*Ensure all tenancy related enquiries are appropriately investigated, considered and resolved.
*Positively promote effective tenancy management, sustainment and involvement.
*Contribute to the delivery of high quality tenancy enforcement, tenancy sustainment and tenant participation services.
*Work with other appropriate agencies to ensure tenancies are conducted in line with the tenancy agreement and all other relevant legislation.
*Work as part of the Tenancy and Estates team to ensure the effective delivery of tenancy and estates services in line with the Company's Vision and Mission.

The Candidate
To be considered for the role you will require a minimum of 2 years' experience working in supported housing and have an expertise in tenancy and estate management, in particular in dealing with neighbour nuisance and anti-social behaviour. As the scheme houses tenants aged from their 20s to their 90s, you will need to be comfortable working with a wide range of vulnerabilities, from general frailty to mental health problems.

The Contract
This is a full time role on an initial temporary contract, running until mid-August at the earliest.
