Job description: Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and Outstanding Ofsted rated Children's Residential Provider. They a looking to expand their team of therapeutic support workers, working within a team of childcare professional to work within a therapeutic community of Children's Homes which have adopted the SPARCS methodology.

"SPARCS" or Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress is a group intervention, delivered during school hours, that is specifically designed to address the needs of chronically traumatised adolescents who may still be living with ongoing stress and are experiencing problems in several areas of functioning. The overall goals of the 16-week program are to help young people cope more effectively in the moment, enhance self-efficacy, connect with others and establish supportive relationships, cultivate awareness, and create meaning.

We are looking for an experienced person to be at the forefront of the introduction to this innovative therapy and be part of a team of dedicated staff members who will be supported by the in house clinical psychology department.

This is a full time position working 35 hours per week and the rate of pay is between £9-£9.50 dependent on experience. This role will be based in Cronton and Huyton.

It is essential for applicants to have experience working directly with young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties and preferably a diploma in caring for Children and Young People or a recognised qualification in therapeutic work with young people.
