Job description: We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our team to support with building our Construction desk in the North East and Cumbria.

You will have responsibility for your own geographical market within our Trades team that you will be responsible for building and maintaining. This combined with an uncapped commission structure, means you can create great financial reward for yourself from a combination of existing customers and new business. All you need is the drive to speak to and engage with customers using sales techniques

You will be provided in an in-depth 4-week training programme which will provide you with the basics of the role and will support with your development into a long-term career within recruitment.


• Make a high volume of sales and business development calls to construction business within your geographical market
• Conduct research to identify new clients and meet customer needs
• Build long lasting relationships with new and existing clients and candidates
• Build and develop your own candidate database by sourcing and recruiting quality blue collar trade professionals and matching them to temporary and permanent job placements
• Work to KPI’s and targets to support with your career development


• Experience of contacting new business leads or account management
• Exposure to a target driven sales environment
• Proven sales track record at hitting sales targets and KPI’s
• Experience in use of Social Media (LinkedIn) to drive sales campaigns
• Proficient in MS Office packages and CRM software
• Communication and negotiation skills
• Strong rapport builder
 • Excellent time management and organisation skills
