Job description: Job Title: Treasury and Asset Officer
Salary: £32,800
Hours: 37 hours per week
Type: Permanent
Based: Sevenoaks, TN13

Our client is looking for a candidate whose primary responsibility will be to make sure their property portfolio is ready to charge so they can deliver their development programme to help the many people for whom a good home (to rent or buy) is too expensive in the Kent region and also to monitor and control our development expenditure.

Role Responsibilities -

*Ensure all homes have appropriate documentation to support securitisation, liaising with other teams, solicitors, funders and valuers as required.
*Ensure they comply with their contractual obligations in right to buy and legislative obligations for right to acquire.
*Ensure assets and liabilities register is maintained for all housing stock including reconciling all acquisition and disposal of land and property.
*Assist in compiling and reporting on properties as part of stock valuations and charging exercises.
*Assist the Treasury and Asset Manager in providing clear and reconciled property portfolio which protects social housing assets.
*Co-ordinate the annual statistical data return and disposal notification regime to the Regulator.
*Maintain an accurate up to date Graphical Information System record for association's stock and land ownership.
*Foster and build productive relationships to ensure the controls of development contractor expenditure are processed correctly, and accurately.
*Pro-actively collaborate with colleagues to provide a cohesive service for customers.
*Manage budgets effectively to provide value for money.

Essential Criteria -

*Highly numerate, literate and an excellent communicator
*Ability to assimilate, analyse and interpret complex information
*Demonstrable experience of securitisation and getting properties ready to charge
*Demonstrable knowledge of right to buy, right to acquire processes and other property sales
*Able to collaborate productively with colleagues internally and external partners
*Able to collaborate with others to communicate performance and operations
*Lifelong learner with established pattern of continuing professional development and commitment to adult development
