Job description: Waking Night Support Workers, Ipswich & Bury St Edmunds.
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a number of Support Worker roles in Ipswich & Bury St Edmunds.
As a Support Worker based in Ipswich & Bury St Edmunds, you will require experience working with the homeless, as well as dealing with having some experience of working with mental health issues, substance misuse and challenging behaviour. You will also need to be IT literate and will ideally be NVQ/QCF Qualified.
A key feature of this role is to work alongside, and provide support to, clients and their families in a person centred way to help them actively move towards living independently, whilst assisting with practical tasks based upon their needs.
The schemes these roles will be based in are all 24/7 and so flexibility to work days, nights and weekends is preferred
The specific roles being recruited for are as follows:
-2 x Waking Night Support Workers, Ipswich
-2 x Waking Night Support Workers, Bury St Edmunds
These are ongoing roles with a chance of becoming permanent.
Due to the nature of the customers, you will also require an up to date, enhanced DBS issued within the last 12 months.
