Welfare Benefits Customer Service Advisor, East London

Job description: I am currently recruiting for a Welfare Benefits Customer Service Advisor based in East London. This is working 36 hours a week Monday to Friday.

The Business Hub is a large department of over 200 people across 14 teams who provide critical support services. We are looking for Business Support Officers to provide additional capacity in the team to undertake financial assessments and benefits advice for service users and their families

This role requires visiting service users and their families or representative's, usually in their own homes, to obtain, verify, record, review, collate and evaluate the financial information of individual service users in receipt of chargeable services, in order to complete a financial assessment and undertake a welfare benefits check.
