Job description: Role: Welsh Speaking Customer Service Officer
Location: Cardiff, CF11
Work pattern: 37 hrs - Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00
Start date: ASAP
End date: Temp ongoing contract

This role will be office based for a few months until the successful candidate was confident with the enquiries they were dealing with for their service area. There could be a possibility of homeworking then, but this cannot be guaranteed. Social distancing measures will be in place within the workplace.
I'm currently recruiting for a grade 4 welsh speaking Customer Service Officer to work in a busy Customer Service Department. The purpose of the job role will be to provide advice, information and assistance with enquiries. You will be assessing customer needs and applying sound judgement regarding the resolution. This will primarily be a telephone based role and this the successful candidate will need to have an excellent telephone manner and previous experience working in a similar environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. To provide accurate, meaningful and consistent advice to customers, ensuring that they understand the action, which will be taken.
2. To listen patiently, to empathise with the customer's situation and convey a genuine desire to help and support.
3. To work with colleagues within the Contact Centre and other service areas to ensure the highest levels of first time call resolution and customer satisfaction.
4. To work with current and emerging technology to enhance customer contact services.
5. To ensure continuous improvement, initiating, facilitating and responding to change in a positive manner.

Experience/Qualification:
*Educated to a minimum of GCSE standard.
*Grade 4 Welsh Speaker
*Previous experience working in a customer service environment resolving customer's queries, request and complaints.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Have a great working knowledge of Microsoft systems.
*Experience working in a fast paced environment.
