Job description: Job Details:

If you are successful in your application, you will be taking the lead responsibility for the supervision and case management of young people and their families who are subject to preventative interventions, out of court disposals or community orders and custodial sentences. You will be providing high quality, written reports to Referral Order panels, Youth and Crown Courts, Child Protection conferences and other formal forums. In addition, you will also be working with other agencies to develop, input and oversee packages of support and intervention for the young offenders and their families.

Requirements:

In order to be successful for this role you will need to have a degree either in Social Work or one that is relevant to the Youth Justice System. You will also have had professional experience holding complex caseloads of young people or adults. A working knowledge of childcare legislation along with understanding of restorative justice is also essential.
