Salary: £45.20 per hour (Umbrella)
Work Arrangements: Office-based with some remote working, 4-day working week (minimum 3 days on-site)
Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective safeguarding of children, young people, families, and communities through the delivery of a youth offending service.
- Lead and manage the team to provide high-quality, integrated services in compliance with national legislation and best practices.
- Make decisions on complex cases within the youth offending service, focusing on areas such as harmful practices, gangs, serious youth violence, and whole family work.
- Manage HR, performance, and resource allocation to empower staff and achieve service objectives.
- Registration with Social Work England (SWE).
- Degree in Social Work or a youth justice professional qualification.
- Access to reflection spaces, meeting rooms, and quiet spaces.
- On-site parking available (subsidized for all Havering council staff).

- Hybrid model with 3 days per week onsite.
