Adult Social Care Solicitor

Service Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded Local Authority, based in Leicestershire, which is looking for experienced Adult Social Care Solicitors to join their Legal Services team.
 
Role: Adult Social Care Solicitor
Location: Leicestershire (hybrid/remote)
Umbrella Rate: £50 - £60ph
PAYE Inc. Rate: £44.06 - £52.76ph
Contract Length: 3 months ongoing

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality legal advice and advocacy in relation to Adult Social Care (community care, adult protection), mental health matters and education law (including school admission appeals).
• Advising officers, Members, Cabinet and Committees.
• Interpreting and implementing Government legislation and policy.
• Advocacy in mental health matters (where suitably experienced).

Key Requirements:

• Have 3 years of PQE in Adult Social Care law as a Solicitor in England and Wales.
• Public sector experience within an Adult Social Care legal team.
• Ideally be able to attend at in-person hearings although not essential.
