💷 £42 per hour (Umbrella) (£32 PAYE an hour)

Brent Council is seeking an experienced Team Manager (Community Opportunities) to join their Adult Social Care – Direct Services team on an initial 4-month contract.
This is a key leadership role within community-based services supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism, across day services and supported living settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage team leaders, care/support staff and support staff
• Oversee the safe and effective delivery of community and day services
• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding, and health & safety requirements
• Manage and develop person-centred support plans and positive behaviour approaches
• Work closely with service users, families, carers and professionals
• Monitor service quality, manage risk, and respond to complex situations
• Manage budgets and contribute to service development and improvement

Essential Experience:

• Significant experience within Adult Social Care, particularly Learning Disabilities and/or Autism
• Proven management experience within day services, supported living, or community services
• Strong knowledge of CQC, safeguarding, risk management and positive behaviour support
• Experience managing staff, performance, and service delivery
• Ability to work within a pressured, operational environment

Additional Information:

• Enhanced DBS (Adults) required
• Experience within a local authority or similar public sector setting is highly desirable
