Job Title: Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) / Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP)

Service Care Solutions are recruiting to support a major Primary Care Centre, located in Morcombe.

Location: Morecambe / Heysham
Setting: Primary Care (GP Surgery)
Rate: £45 per hour (LTD)
Working Hours: 8:00am – 6:30pm
Days Required: Monday & Tuesday
Contract Length: Jan - March 2026
Systems: EMIS
Requirements: Smartcard required

Job Description We are seeking an experienced ACP / ANP to support a GP surgery in the Morecambe / Heysham area. This role involves delivering high-quality primary care services, managing a varied caseload, and working autonomously within a well-established practice team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct same-day acute clinics, minor illness appointments and chronic disease reviews within scope of practice.
  
  
• Perform F2F and telephone clinical assessments, diagnose conditions, and formulate management plans.
  
  
• Prescribe medications safely and appropriately (if a qualified prescriber)
  
  
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records using EMIS.
  
  
• Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and wider MDT to ensure continuity of care.
  
  
• Support practice demand during peak periods by providing high-quality, autonomous clinical decision-making.
  
  

Essential Requirements

• Qualified ACP / ANP with proven primary care or urgent care experience (L7 MSc)
  
  
• Confident in autonomous clinical assessment and management.
  
  
• Smartcard essential.
  
  
• Competent using EMIS.
  
  
• Full right to work in the UK.
