Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) | Accrington, Lancashire

We are recruiting experienced ANPs available to work on a locum basis from 19th January to 31st March in a GP setting in Accrington.

Locum ANP/ACP
System: EMIS
Hours: 09:00 – 17:00, 09:30 – 17:30 or 10:00 – 18:00
Days: Monday to Friday (flexible)
Rate: £45 LTD p/h, PAYE options available £250 Welcome Bonus after 150hrs worked.
Contract: Locum

Duties & Responsibilities

• Undertake independent clinical assessments, diagnosis, and management of patients
  
  
• Manage same-day and routine appointments
  
  
• Prescribe medications in line with independent prescribing qualification
  
  
• Request, interpret, and act upon diagnostic tests and results
  
  
• Manage acute, chronic, and long-term conditions
  
  
• Provide health promotion and patient education
  
  
• Make appropriate referrals to secondary and community services
  
  
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records on EMIS
  
  
• Work autonomously while collaborating with the wider multidisciplinary team
  
  

Requirements

• Full Level 7 MSc (ANP/ACP qualification)
  
  
• Independent Prescribing qualification
  
  
• EMIS experience essential
  
  
• Ability to work autonomously within a GP practice setting
