The Role

- Provide direct support to children, young people and their families to help keep children safely at home where possible.
- Support Social Workers with children on Child in Need, Child Protection and Care plans through direct work and practical interventions.
- Facilitate and supervise safe, meaningful family time sessions between children and their families.
- Manage schedules, venues and transport to ensure family time sessions run smoothly—including some travel outside the area.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with families and professionals.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Experience working with children, young people and families in formal or informal settings.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Good organisational and report-writing abilities.
- An understanding of safeguarding and child development.
- A driving licence and access to a vehicle.
