Childcare Paralegal

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a grown local authority based in Somerset who are seeking a Childcare Paralegal to join their team.

This role pays a competitive rate of:
Umbrella rate - £20ph – £30ph umbrella depending on experience.
PAYE (inc.Hol) - £18.13 - £26.92ph depending on experience

This role is on a part time Hybrid basis and on a 3-month contract with potential to extend.

Responsibilities as a Childcare Paralegal:

• To provide assistance to the solicitor dealing with the case
• This role specifically relates to providing support in relation to private law family proceedings, care proceedings, pre-proceedings, and other public law children matters.
• Dealing with caseload from start to completion regarding childcare law

About you as a Childcare Paralegal:

• The candidate will be a legal advisor with CILEx Level 6 Diploma in Law and Practice, Law Degree or equivalent with experience in the area of child protection, ideally within a Local Authority. 
• Experience of drafting letters and reports
• Excellent communication skills
