Childcare Solicitor

Service Care Solutions is working with a respected law firm, based in Reading, which is seeking a Childcare Solicitor with 2 or more years' PQE to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with experience in publicly funded childcare work who is passionate about supporting clients through complex and sensitive legal matters.
 
Role: Childcare Solicitor
Location: Reading
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000
 
The Role:

• Manage a diverse caseload of childcare matters, including care proceedings, from start to completion.
• Undertake advocacy where appropriate.
• Supervise paralegals and support effective case management.
• Contribute to the continued growth and success of the department.

The Ideal Candidate:

• 2 or more years' PQE in Child Care law as a Solicitor in England and Wales.
• Experience handling care proceedings and Legal Aid-funded work.
• Strong advocacy, communication and organisational skills.
