Do you want a role where your kindness can truly change lives? We are working with a leading care organization in Oxfordshire, supporting children and young adults with additional and complex needs. Our mission is to help them live rich, fulfilling lives at home, in school, and in the community, while providing support and respite for families.

We are looking for empathetic, caring individuals who can become a trusted and valued presence in a child’s or young adult’s world.

About the Role

As a Children & Young Adults Support Worker, you will provide personalized support both in the family home and in the wider community. Each day brings new experiences, which may include:

  • Supporting children or young adults on community outings and activities
  • Assisting with swimming, soft play, or recreational activities
  • Providing support at school to help with learning and engagement
  • Helping with daily routines, personal care, mealtimes, and mobility
  • Preparing meals or assisting with light household tasks to support families
Some children and young adults we support may have complex needs, including PEG feeding, administering medication, or using mobility or medical equipment. Full paid training will be provided to ensure you can perform these tasks safely and confidently.

You will follow individual care plans and risk assessments, work closely with families and professionals, and always prioritise safeguarding and wellbeing.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in care is welcomed, particularly with children or young adults with complex needs, but it is not essential. What matters most is your character and approach. We are looking for people who:

  • Are kind, patient, and empathetic
  • Enjoy working with children and young adults
  • Communicate clearly and work well as part of a team
  • Are reliable and emotionally aware
  • Want to make a meaningful difference
  • Are willing to learn and develop new skills
What We Offer
  • Fully paid training, including specialist care skills
  • Ongoing supervision and support
  • Opportunities for professional development
  • A rewarding, varied role where no two days are the same
  • The chance to make a lasting difference to children and their families
Make a Real Impact
This is more than a job — it’s about helping children and young adults feel safe, valued, and empowered. If you are compassionate, motivated, and want to build a career that truly matters, we would love to hear from you.

Apply today and help children and young adults live life to the fullest!
