Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of the NHS in Gloucestershire for a Band 5 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join a community mental health service.

Contract Details

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
  
  
• Pay rate: £21.50 per hour (Umbrella)
  
  
• Contract: Temporary, 3 months initially, with potential extension
  
  

Role Overview The successful candidate will work within a community mental health team, providing high-quality care and support to service users with a range of mental health needs. The role involves assessments, care planning, risk management, and ongoing therapeutic interventions in line with NHS and Trust policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of service users in the community
  
  
• Completing mental health assessments and care plans
  
  
• Monitoring risk and safeguarding concerns
  
  
• Delivering recovery-focused interventions
  
  
• Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  
  
• Maintaining accurate clinical records
  
  

Requirements

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with valid NMC registration
  
  
• Previous experience working in a community mental health setting
  
  
• Strong communication and organisational skills
  
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
