Contracts and Procurement Solicitor

Service Care Solutions is working alongside a bustling local authority, based in Lincolnshire, which is looking for a Commercial Contracts and Procurement Solicitor to join their team. This assignment is offered for an initial three-month period, with a strong possibility of extension for the right candidate and can be done on a largely remote basis.
 
Role: Contracts and Procurement Solicitor
Location: Lincolnshire - remote
Umbrella Rate: £50 - £55ph
PAYE Inc. Rate: £44.10 - £48.44ph
 
The Role:

• Provide a wide range of commercial legal services to the Local Authority, partner District Councils and the recently established Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority.
• Handle a varied caseload of services contracts, IT and technology contracts, framework agreements, collaborative procurements, grant agreements and subsidy control matters.
• Support the wider contracts and procurement team when required.

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years’ PQE in Contracts and Procurement law as a solicitor in England and Wales (with a current practicing certificate).
• Demonstrable experience in commercial contracts and procurement within a local authority setting.
• Ability to work autonomously and contribute effectively within a small team.
