Job Title: Decorator
Location: Bracknell
Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
Rate: £20 per hour
Benefits: Van included


Job Overview: Carry out decoration and tiling works efficiently and effectively, ensuring high-quality results, customer satisfaction, and compliance with specifications and health & safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Decoration & Tiling:

• Perform painting, decorating, and tiling works according to specifications.
• Carry out minor wall repairs to prepare for tiling.
• Repair timber-framed windows, doors, porches, guttering, soffits, and fascias during external decoration works.

Property Maintenance:

• Wash down and treat mould and damp in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Clean externals of properties, including windows, doors, soffits, and fascias.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required: Qualifications:

• City & Guilds in Tiling and/or Painting & Decorating (advanced craft level) OR
• NVQ Level 2 in Tiling or Painting & Decorating OR
• Time-served experience in tiling and painting & decorating.

Experience:

• Experience carrying out tiling and decorating work in a similar role.
• Ability to work as part of a trade team and meet tight timescales.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Understanding of practical and technical requirements for repairs, tiling, and redecorations.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Competent using smartphones and tablets for work reporting.
• Full driving licence.
