EYFS/Pre-school Teaching Assistant

Pre-School Teaching Assistant – EYFS | Mainstream Primary School Are you passionate about early childhood development? Do you enjoy supporting young children as they take their first steps into education?

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Pre-School Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team and support children within our Nursery/Pre-School provision.

The Role As a Pre-School Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support children aged 3–4 within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  
  
• Assist with delivering play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS framework
  
  
• Support children’s early communication, language, literacy and numeracy development
  
  
• Promote positive behaviour and social skills
  
  
• Help create a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment
  
  
• Observe, monitor and record children’s progress
  
  
• Support children with additional needs where required
  
  
• Work closely with the class teacher and Early Years team
  
  

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience working in a nursery or pre-school setting
  
  
• Has a good understanding of the EYFS framework
  
  
• Is warm, patient and enthusiastic
  
  
• Can build positive relationships with young children and families
  
  
• Is flexible, proactive and a strong team player
  
  
• Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification (desirable but not essential)
