Governance Lawyer

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Governance Lawyer to join a well-established local authority on an initial 8-month contract, with strong potential for extension. This role offers hybrid working, providing flexibility between office and remote work.

This role is on a full-time and hybrid basis which pays a competitive rate of:

Umbrella Rate - £50-£60 an hour depending on experience.
PAYE (Inc.Hol) - £44.50 - £53.28 an hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities of the Governance Lawyer:

• Provide high-quality legal advice on governance, constitutional and administrative law matters
• Draft and review committee reports, constitutions, and governance documentation

• Advise on information governance, including FOI requests and data protection issues

About you as a Governance Lawyer:

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with 3 years of PQE in Governance Lawyer
• Excellent communication and drafting skills
• Experience advising committees and senior stakeholders
