Housing Disrepair Fee Earner

Service Care Solutions are currently working alongside a law firm based in Lancashire. They are seeking a Housing Disrepair Fee Earner to join their team on a full-time basis.

This role pays a competitive salary of £25,000 - £26,000 per annum, depending on experience.
 
Responsibilities as a Housing Disrepair Fee Earner:

• Manage your own caseload of housing disrepair matters from start to resolution.
• Liaise with tenants, landlords, contractors, and internal teams to ensure repairs are identified and completed.
• Monitor repair works, track progress, and ensure timescales are met.
• Keep accurate records and provide updates and guidance to tenants throughout the process.
• Deliver excellent customer service with a professional and empathetic approach.

About you as a Housing Disrepair Fee Earner:

• Previous experience in housing, repairs, maintenance, or a customer-facing role (no formal qualifications required).
• Good understanding of common housing disrepair issues such as damp, mould, leaks, and structural concerns.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and work independently as well as part of a team.
• A proactive and organised approach to problem-solving.
