Income Administrator & Income Accounting Officer – Hybrid Roles
Pay: £15.66 (LTD) – Income Administrator | £17.04 (LTD) – Income Accounting Officer
Location: Bournemouth (Hybrid Working)
We’re currently working with a well-regarded local authority seeking two motivated professionals to join their Income and Leasehold team. These hybrid roles offer excellent flexibility, a supportive environment, and the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of essential housing services.
Income Administrator – £15.66 per hour (LTD)
As part of the Income and Leasehold team, you’ll provide administrative support across the Right to Buy and Leasehold functions.
Key duties include:
  • Processing Right to Buy applications and managing related documentation.
  • Assisting with leasehold queries and maintaining accurate records.
  • Preparing and issuing correspondence, including service charge statements and Section 20 notices.
  • Supporting with general admin duties such as scanning, mail merges and data updates.
This role is hybrid, with 2 days per week in the office and the remainder working from home.
Income Accounting Officer – £17.04 per hour (LTD)
Working as part of the Income team, you’ll play a key role in maintaining rent, service charge and recharges accounts while assisting with income recovery and financial processes.
Key duties include:
  • Managing changes to tenant accounts promptly and accurately.
  • Processing Universal Credit payments and setting up Direct Debits.
  • Assisting with arrears recovery and liaising with benefits teams.
  • Responding to rent and service charge queries via phone and email.
This role offers a mainly home-based working arrangement, with attendance in the office once a fortnight.
Both positions suit detail-oriented professionals with strong administrative and communication skills, a good head for figures, and a customer-focused approach. Experience using housing or finance systems would be an advantage.
