Litigation Solicitor

Service Care Legal are delighted to be working in partnership with a respected and long-standing law firm in South East London who are looking to recruit an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join their growing Civil Litigation team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated solicitor seeking high-quality work, autonomy over their caseload, and a genuinely supportive working environment.

Role: Litigation Solicitor (4 years' PQE )
Location: South East London
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 (DOE / PQE / interview performance)

Matters will include (but are not limited to):

• Landlord & Tenant disputes
• Boundary and neighbour disputes
• Debt recovery
• General civil litigation matters

Key Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload of civil litigation files from instruction to conclusion
• Drafting pleadings, witness statements, court documents, and settlement agreements
• Providing clear, strategic, and practical legal advice to clients
• Representing clients at hearings, mediations, and negotiations
• Undertaking legal research and ensuring procedural compliance
• Accurately recording time and maintaining well-organised, compliant files
• Contributing to business development and networking activities where appropriate

About You To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

• A minimum of 4 years’ PQE in civil litigation
• Strong technical knowledge of civil litigation procedures
• The ability to work independently while managing competing deadlines
• Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
