About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and reliable MOT Tester to join our team. You will be responsible for carrying out MOT tests on a range of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to DVSA standards and procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified MOT professional who takes pride in precision, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct MOT tests on Class 4 and/or 7 vehicles in line with DVSA regulations.
• Complete all MOT documentation and certification accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain up-to-date MOT records using the DVSA MOT testing system.
• Identify and report vehicle faults, defects, or advisory issues clearly and professionally.
• Support colleagues with general servicing, repairs, and diagnostics when required.
• Adhere to health and safety requirements and maintain a clean, organised work environment.
• Keep tools and equipment maintained and calibrated.
• Stay up to date with DVSA standards, procedures, and updates.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential:

• Valid MOT Tester Qualification (Class 4 and/or 7) issued by DVSA.
• Full, current UK driving licence.
• Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and maintenance.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

Desirable:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Experience in a main dealer or independent garage environment.
• Additional skills in diagnostics, mechanical, or electrical repairs.
