Multi-Skilled Operative Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Pay: £25 per hour
Vehicle: Company van included

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Operative capable of completing carpentry, plumbing, and a range of trade tasks to an advanced standard, in line with the Skills Awards L3 NVQ Diploma in Maintenance Operations (or equivalent).

This role involves domestic maintenance, repair, and installation work across various properties and communal areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete plumbing, carpentry, masonry, tiling, plastering (internal & external), and general maintenance tasks to a high standard.
  
  
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, building standards, and correct PPE usage.
  
  
• Liaise with customers and colleagues to provide updates on work progress.
  
  
• Refer complex cases to senior team members when necessary.
  
  
• Provide a high-quality service and maintain excellent customer relationships.
  
  
• Complete repairs within priority timeframes and aim for first-time fixes.
  
  
• Use and apply a Schedule of Rates for job costing and ensure repair orders correctly reflect job value.
  
  
• Participate in out-of-hours emergency call-out rota when required.
  
  
• Accurately complete all paperwork and digital records following required procedures.
  
  
• Procure materials from approved suppliers while maintaining value for money.
  
  
• Maintain a well-stocked, clean, and safe works vehicle, including regular safety checks and reporting defects as needed.
