Practice Nurse – Primary Care Location: Liverpool

Day: Wednesdays Only
Rate: £30 per hour (Ltd)

Service Care Solutions Primary Care are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients for an experienced Practice Nurse to support a GP practice in Liverpool on a Wednesday-only basis.

This role offers a varied and engaging workload, with the successful candidate alternating weekly between two key clinics:

Clinic Rotation

• Week One: Long-Term Conditions Clinic (e.g. asthma, COPD, diabetes management)
• Week Two: Paediatric Vaccination Clinic

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care within long-term condition clinics, including reviews and management.
• Administer childhood immunisations in line with NHS schedules and guidelines.
• Accurately document patient interactions using the relevant clinical systems.
• Work autonomously while contributing positively to the wider primary care team.
• Maintain professional standards in line with NMC requirements and practice protocols.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (NMC) with Practice Nurse experience.
• Competent in managing long-term conditions.
• Confident and experienced in paediatric vaccinations.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing clinical environments.
