Private Client Solicitor

Service Care Legal are working with a well-regarded and established law firm based in Surrey who are looking to appoint a Private Client Solicitor to join their friendly and experienced Private Client team.

ROLE: Private Client Solicitor
LOCATION: Surrey
SALARY: £50,000 to £70,000

Job Description

• Managing a varied private client caseload including wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, inheritance tax planning, and lasting powers of attorney
• Advising clients with sensitivity and professionalism, delivering clear and practical guidance tailored to individual circumstances
• Handling matters independently from instruction through to conclusion, ensuring a high standard of technical accuracy
• Contributing positively to the wider team, sharing knowledge and supporting best practice across the department

Job Profile

• Qualified Solicitor with ideally 3 years’ PQE in Private Client (applications from those with slightly less experience will be considered)
• Demonstrable experience across core private client work; exposure to contentious probate or Court of Protection matters is advantageous but not essential
• Able to work autonomously while remaining a collaborative and engaged team member
• STEP membership and/or Association of Lifetime Lawyers accreditation would be beneficial, though not essential
